A trail cam set out for deer in Arkansas has take a picture of a cougar. The picture was taken back in November 30, 2010 but the story is only now making the rounds and getting out there. The picture is from Roland, Arkansas.
Not many cougars pics have been showing up from Arkansas lately so I am glad to see this one and glad it isn’t laying dead on a table too. Arkansas has the best habitat for reintroduction of Florida panthers which historically lived in Arkansas. But Arkansas wants no part of that. So what do they get. The slightly bigger and slightly more dangerous ones migrating in from out West.
