Nasal gland
Gland in deer located just inside the nostrils, primarily used for lubrication.

Natal stream
Stream of birth.

Nautical Mile
One minute of latitude; approximately 6076 feet - about 1/8 longer than the statute mile of 5280 feet.

Nock
The end piece on an arrow shaft used to hold the arrow to the bowstring before a shot is made.

Nocturnal
Nocturnal means activity during nighttime hours.The reason why deer can move around in the dark is because they see well at night. There is a membrane at the back of the eye that specially filters light, allowing them keen vision in low lighted areas.

Non-typical
Antlers that have abnormal, unusually occuring points that are not found on the typical deers rack.
