Caught: Really Big Red Snapper
This is the current world record Red Snapper. It was caught by Henry (Doc) Kennedy while fishing out of Belle Pass Marina in Louisiana. This snapper was 50 pounds 4 ounces. He had two red snapper on at once and would you believe he said the bigger one got away!!!
