Proof: First Wisconsin Cougar Of 2013
Wisconsin dept of natural resources heared of a cougar being treed off County Highway B in Sawyer County. Biologist Adrian Wydeven was able to confirm the cougars presence. The hunters had treed the cougar on January 19. They were able to confirm the cougar was male which is typical of cougars found far from established cougar breeding populations. The cougar was not shot or harmed in any way.
