Never buy Expensive Live Shrimp Again!

"The Speculizer" is the most revolutionary lure to come along in quite some time. There is simply no better artificial bait for speckled trout anywhere. I have consistently caught more fish, and bigger fish, than even anglers who swear by live bait. "The Speculizer" is essentially a system of proven components that when used together, produces better than everything else, including live shrimp.

speculizer The speculizer system wasn’t developed overnight. It resulted after many years of experimenting and fishing with a variety of hooks, cork types, rattles, beads, weights, leader materials and lengths. The success of "The Speculizer" can be directly attributed to the quality components that go into this bait. This is why I believe this bait is so effective.

The speculizer starts with an oval-shaped, weighted cork. After considering many different cork sizes and shapes, I selected this design for one simple reason - it sounds the most like a school of speckled trout feeding. Rather than the conventional "popping" corks, I found that the "clicking" of the slapping wire and beads accurately mimics the sound of shrimp as they "pop" their tails. After scouting schools of feeding fish for years, I know that this cork attracts fish unlike anything I have ever seen.

Also, the extra weight just below the cork enhances the lure in many ways. First, it (a) allows for longer casts, allowing the angler to cover more water. This alone will increase your odds of catching more fish. It also pays off big when you are chasing schools of specks in open water. The noises of boats and motors tend to displace, or "spook" some fish. And biological studies indicate that these schools not move very far. Longer casts will enable anglers to reach the perimeter of these schools easier. But there are other advantages. The (b) extra weight gives "The Speculizer" a more pronounced action. To achieve this, I have positioned a weight just below the cork in an area that causes the rubber shrimp to jump higher with every twitch of the rod tip. Anglers know that the erratic movement of a baitfish demands a predator’s attention. And (c) I have also found that the extra weight brings the cork back to its original upright position much faster than the standard cork.

The extra-long leader allows you to access feeding fish in deeper water. But it can also be used in effectively in as little as six inches of water, or less. "The Speculizer" has proven to be effective in all interior and coastal habitats such as bays, lakes, canals, bayous, ponds, drains and shorelines. The spooking that it prevents is one of the most important attributes.

The glow-in-the-dark rubber shrimp is what makes "The Speculizer" work better than live shrimp in many cases. These materials give anglers an edge when fishing in the toughest conditions, such as muddy water.

"The Speculizer" works in a larger variety of bodies of water and conditions than any other lure. It works in clear water, dirty water, rough water and calm water. It is the ONLY LURE I've seen that will often out-catch live shrimp.

Now that you know why the lure is so effective here is how to order the bait and fishing techniques you can use to put more fish in the boat.
