Pretty cool video of some big redfish and something much much bigger.
Very popular knot for tying fishing line to a lure or hook. You will loose a few inches extra of fishing line each time you tie the knot though.
How To Tie Impoved Clinch Knot. Great and commonly used knot for tying fishing line to the eye of a hook. My favorite probably because it was the first real fishing knot I ever learned how to tie.
Best Fluorocarbon knot. This knot is for tying fluorocarbon line to the hook.
Lionfish are not native to US waters but have been illegally introduced to the area by people that dump them in the ocean when they grow tired of feeding them in their aquariums. Here you see some snapper feasting on one. Hopefully the snapper can keep the lionfish population in check. Not sure if the divers had killed it for them though.
Hmmmm why do you think the Louisiana fisherman are so pissed at getting screwed over by the low snapper limits. Limiting out in minutes has become the rule and not the exception. Yet snapper are supposedly over fished. Where do they think they will put the extras. Doesn’t look like there is room for many more.
Oh and you do realize all these fish are swimming around a evil oil rig that kills everything within 100 miles dooming the planet right…. yeah right.
