First this picture surfaced! And now apparently the cougar is dead after a 140 pound male cougar was hit and killed by an automobile. And as usual before the cougar was actually killed people get all worried. Sad we live in such a sterile enviroment today were so many people are scared of everything.
UPDATE: DNA testing has confirmed that this cougar was not, as wildlife officials always seem to claim, a former captive. I repeat NOT AN ESCAPED pet. The cougar/mountain lion traveled from the South Dakota area and is possibly the same cougar that was tracked moving through Minnesota and Wisconsin.
