Proof: Blurry Kansas Cougar

A deer hunters trail cam took this picture of a cougar showing a cougar somewhere in Atchison County, Kansas.

Tracks were found and the KDWPT as well as NRO investigated and also found tracks and confirmed the location and size.

The cougars was estimated at 4.5 feet long. This makes the sixth cougar to be confirmed in the state of Kansas in the last four year. And speculation is that it is a dispersing male cougar since they typically disperse the further than females typically do. But the truth is the sex of this cougar is not definitively known. Lets hope it is a female.
