Juneau-Jackson Cougar Caught On Trail Camera!

A cougar was captured on a trail cam in Juneau County, Wisconsin (Fall 2011) and has been verified by state officials. The cougar is a young adult, sex unknown, but probably a male, because males disperse more widely than females. The four different cougars have been confirmed in Wisconsin the last couple of years and all four were confirmed by DNA to be different and all male. This one is likely a male as well. And right on this heels of the above picture comes this one.

Apparently the same cougar, as can be determined by closely examining the markings of each. This latest picture comes from Jackson County, Wisconsin.
