Zebra Moray Eel Gymnomuraena zebra are found at reefs in the Indo-Pacific, and in the east Pacific from Baja California, Mexico to Colombia, including the Galapagos Islands, Hawaiian Islands southward to Polynesia, westward to the coast of Africa.
Zebra Morays are fairly small moray eels and reach a maximum six of a bit less than 5 feet long but most are considerably smaller. The pretty striped body makes it a fairly popular fish in the aquarium fish trade. It feeds on crustaceans, sea urchins and mollusks.
