Starry Smooth-Hound - Mustelus asterias

The Starry Smooth-Hound a shark in the group known as dogfish. They are native to the British Isles and North Sea south as far as the Mediterranean and Mauritania. The starry smooth-hound can be distinguishable from the Common Smooth hound by all the small white spots.

They prefer sand or gravel bottoms are its main habitat where it feeds on crustaceans.
