Naso brevirostris - Spotted unicornfish

Spotted Unicornfish (Naso brevirostris) is part a member of the tang family and ranges in the warm regions of the Pacific and Indian Oceans.

Adults are bluish grey to olive brown in color, short irregular lines on sides of body; diagonal lines on horn; lip edges blue. Subadults with dark spots on head and body. Juveniles lack the prominent horn of adults visible in this specimen above.
