Splendid toadfish are quite colorful that along with their choice of makeing a home in coral reefs has led to their common name of Splendid and Coral Toadfish.
This picture is one of the best that you will likely find with the entire body readily visible. Splendid toad fish may be splendid and colorful but they sure aren't hams when it comes to the spotlight. They are most frequently seen hiding amongst the coral with only the head visible.
