Peacock Flounder

The peacock flounder (Bothus lunatus) live in the Atlantic Ocean from Florida down to Brazil but absent from the Gulf of Mexico. The peacock flounder prefers to inhabit sandy bottoms, coral reefs, and grass bottoms where they feed on small fish and crustaceans. Color and pattern changes to match the seabottom.
