Parrot Pacu - Ossubtus xinguense, a species from the Amazon, Brazil. This fish has the general look of a saltwater fish such as one of the many angelfish but the presence of the adipose fin can key you to recognizing it as a freshwater species instead and with the other fins quickly can point out that it is one of the pacu species.

As you may have guessed by looking at its mouth the parrot pacu is not much of a predator. It feeds on aquatic macrophytes and filamentous algae.
