Marbled Grouper - Epinephelus inermis

The Marbled Grouper lives in the Western Atlantic from North Carolina all the way to Brazil and all points inbetween. They live in deep water away from most fishermens hooks and are shy, secretive and solitary so they are not frequently caught. But they do venture into shallow waters and are occasionally caught.

Like most grouper they feed mostly on smaller fish.
