Fourfinger Threadfin (Eleutheronema Tetradactylum) occur over shallow muddy bottoms in coastal waters. They usually form loose schools, although larger fish are more often observed in pairs or singly. They feed on shrimp and smaller fish. Tehy range throughout the Indian and Western Pacific Oceans.
