Brown Bullhead - Ictalurus nebulosis

Tyler sent me this picture of a brown bullhead he caught in a Lake by his house. He new what it was but I figuered it would be a good addition here because brown bullheads aren't all that common in many places. Usually being vastly outnumbered by either the black bullhead or the yellow bullhead.

Brown bullheads reach weights of 5 pounds but most weigh 2 pounds are less. Brown bullheads prefer clear water enviroments and don't usually tolerate silty bottoms nearly as well as many other bullheads.
