Golden Trevally - Gnathanodon speciosus

Pictured above is a large Golden Trevally. Younger fish will have much more prominent bars than this one. Golden Trevally live in the Eastern Pacific from Baja California Westward to Hawaii and Australia.

Young fish actually live within the tentacles of jellyfish. The older fish are a good gamefish providing for a strong fight.
