Aaptosyax grypus

Aaptosyax grypus is a rare species found in large rivers of Mekong region. It's status listed as either endangered or threatened, with very little data available.

Aaptosyax grypus is a pelagic species that migrates from December to February presumidly following the upstream migration of small cyprinids. This also corresponds with the spawning period.
