Tecomate Food Plot System Lablab Plus
Tecomate Food Plot System Lablab Plus

Tecomate Lablab Plus is a warm-season pea mix and one of the best choices for providing excellent nutritional plants for deer during the crucial antler-growing spring and summer. Lablab plus mixture contains large-seeded peas for growing high-protein forage quickly and grain sorghum in addition to Lablab. The Lablab mixture contains Lablab, Ebony Pea (a fast-growing, root-rot resistant, vining-type pea). Lablab is a great drought resistant plant which makes it ideal for meeting the deer’s nutritional needs during the critical summer through early fall antler-growing/fawning time. Lablab Plus’ mix of peas limits vulnerability to early grazing of the Lablab which can be very important in small plots which are more easily over grazed. The grain sorghum is included to screen the peas during the first few vulnerable weeks and also produces large seed heads favored by deer and gamebirds. Although many plant this mix for maximizing antler growth it is also great as an early season bowhunting plot.
