"I was sitting on my stand in the corner of a cedar swamp were my uncle had just put in a new cedar rail fence. It was about 10:30am when i saw it come into the opening about 200 yards away. It jumped the fence itno the forest. I was disapointed that i never had time to get a shot. But 2 minutes later it circled and came stait up the cleared fence line to me and a galop. I waited for it to catch scent of me so it would turn broadside but it never did. I made the decision at 30 yards to pull up my 12 gauge winchester ranger model 120 and fired a challenger slug at my trophy. it slowed down and jogged past me. knowing that it was a solid hit i allowed it to run into the swamp. It went about a hundred yards into the swamp were it droped. my first Buck was 10 points and had an inside spread of 14 inches, a great first buck." A great any number buck!
