Katy Flora, from southeast Kansas shot this beauty of a buck behind her Dads house. It was her 5th time out. She spotted the buck about 90 yards out and he come in and was only about 22 yards away.
Katy shot the buck with her savage 243 Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006 at 4:00pm. The buck left little blood but that wasn't needed as he only ran about 60 yards.
It was Katy Flora's 1st kill! She said it was "the best experience of my life and I can't wait to get out there again!"
Katy's dad is mounting him for her so she can hang him on her wall.
