This big cobia was caught 7/10/04 off the Sea Isle Ridge (18 miles out from Sea Isle City, NJ). It was 54 inches long and weighed 50 pounds. Dave Hofmann of Cape May Court House, NJ caught the fish while Brian Teefy was the captain. Everyone around our home town was pretty suprised by the catch, as it is not often found in those waters, especially of that size!!
