I have been dragging my brother in and out of the woods for 2 yrs since his incident. As most of you all might know he is a Walmart manager and was run down in the parking lot by a purse snatcher. He lost his left leg at the knee and shattered his right shoulder. His heart stopped on the table 5 times that night.
We the good news, this season has started off pretty good at our lease. My dad harvested his first doe in yrs and I shot a nice hog the other day with a rifle. Well my brother hasn't seen anything in 2 yrs hunting with us. I have a stand that we are seeing something pretty regular. I had my cameras set up on the feeder getting them trained to come to the feeder.
I told him that since he was off during the week and his wife was getting off early for him to sneak to the lease and get in my stand. I told him that about 6pm a group of hogs were hitting the feeder. They were in stand for 4pm and I got a text message from him at 6:18pm saying "HOG!!!!!!!!!!!"
So, I called him and he said a nice Sow came out with 5 piglets.
I asked him if it was a solid black sow and he said yes. I told him to hold on because that was a monster. He didn't believe me til he got there and called me and said THIS THING IS HUGE!!!
Here is the picture of the hog and his wife. Her first hunt and he scores a 200# plus sow.
