My buddies dad has been having problems with something killing his chickens. And now that the chicken numbers are down he is missing 2 kittens.
So we set out to try and kill us some possums and coons tonight. In the process, I only called in one thing. I never got a clear view, even with NV it stayed in the thick stuff. Based on the hieght to the eye, and how it circled down wind, AND that a hunter in that area left a deer over night that had it's hind quarters chewed up....
I am pretty confident I called in my first yote. Next on the "To Do" list is bag one of them.
Gun season for deer open the same day as predator season...it's gonna be tough hunting from sun up to sun up.

Ah the delima. When to hunt, just to many seasons open at once. I guess that is better than the other way around.

Almost had one last year during deer season but it moved to fast, the neighbor shot one the next day. Doesn't matter a whole lot here, coyote season is open year round

It is open here year round, but I had never called on in while hunting foxes and bobcats, and they do have a specific season.
