couple weeks, he was eating there for about 30 minutes in broad daylight this morning. he had been coming rarely in the mornings, but often times just after dark. i am no longer having the feeder go off in the evening time, only at 7am, so if they want to munch on some corn they have to come after that. if nothing shows in the morning then the birds pretty much clean up the corn during the day. looks like it may be working.

Why anyone would want to shoot a little runt like that is beyond me.
On a more serious note. That's a good one. How much time left Doug ?

If you raised the door on that trap and let him get to some of the feed he might not be so spindly.
