Northshore Of Lake Pontchatrain

These pics are from two different alligators Moses Chatellier killed in Madisonville, Louisiana. The pictures him holding the gators mouth open and in the white boat are of a 12 foot 4 inch gator that weighed almost 700lbs. This gator was free-shot after waiting 25 minutes for him to surface. Two days prior he was eating a 6 foot gator Moses had on a line. Gave him one hell of a scare in a game of tug of war.

I could not track him at that time due to the deep water he went down in, but i got him a couple of days later. He was shot with a 22 mag at a distance of about 30 feet. This did not kill him, it only stunned him for a few minutes. This was enough time for me to get my gator pole/hook on him and then Moses hhuuunnnggg oonnn for a wild ride up and down, spinning around, under tree limbs and everything you could imagine. This lasted for about another 20 mins until he was able to get another shot at point blank range.

"That was the best time or ride I ever had while gator hunting." Moses Chatellier said.

The other gator in the perouge was 11' 6" gator. This gator was healthy but not nearly the beast of the other one.
